KUMANO KODO IS AN ANCIENT PILGRIMAGE ROAD LOCATED DEEP IN THE JAPANESE MOUNTAINS SOUTH OF THE KII PENINSULA. IT CONSISTS OF A SERIES OF SACRED ROUTES THAT PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH THE STRENGTH OF THE SHINTO NATURE. THE WHOLE EXHIBITION IS A REPRESENTATION OF MY OWN WAY, MY OWN LIFE. THE EFFORT, SACRIFICE AND OVERCOMING THROUGH MY OWN STRENGTH, MY OWN FEET. DAYS TO WALK AND CROSS THE MOUNTAINS IN ABSOLUTE SOLITUDE AND TRANQUILITY.KUMANO KODO IS A DEEP PLACE, A PLACE TO WELCOME AND CLOTHE ALL THE CHAPTERS OF YOUR LIFE WALKING WITH YOU.

MARI LUZ VIDAL IS A FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER, WHOSE PHOTOGRAPHY COMBINES CUSTOM WITH THEIR PERSONAL PROJECTS, WHERE ADDRESSES IN A DOCUMENTARY STYLE, PERSONAL HUMAN CONFLICTS BOTH WITH HIMSELF AND WITH THEIR IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT. SHE STUDIED AT THE SCHOOL OF ARTS OF MURCIA AND LATER GRADUATED IN MULTIMEDIA AND DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE UPC IN TERRASSA, BARCELONA.
CURRENTLY CO-DIRECTS OPENHOUSE PROJECT, A PROJECT WHICH OPENS HER HOME IN BARCELONA AS A GALLERY TO SHOW AND SHARE PHOTO PROJECTS FIRSTHAND. SHE IS EQUALLY CO-FOUNDER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND EDITOR OF THE PRINT MAGAZINE OPENHOUSE, THE LIFE WE SHARE.
